Jacobs Motorsports was organized in 1994 with the intention of participating in all forms of
auto racing. In 1995, Michael A. Jacobs, working with Motion Dynamics in a SPEC Racer Ford,
won the North Atlantic Road Racing Championship, the New England Road Racing Championship,
and the New York State Road Racing Championship. In 1996, Jacobs Motorsports ran GTI in a
Pontiac Firebird at the Professional Sports Car Races, including the Rolex 24 hours at Daytona
and the Superflu 12 hours of Sebring. The organization also ran Formula Continental during that
season. In 1998, Jacobs Motorsports ran both C Sports Racer and Formula Atlantic winning the
1998 NESCCA Championship and the Northeast Divisional Championship in C Sports Racer. In 1999,
Jacobs Motorsports ran a Ferrari 348 in GTIII at the Rolex 24 hours at Daytona. The organization
again ran both Atlantic and C Sports Racer and won the 1999 Northeast Divisional Championship
in C Sports Racer.
In 2000, Jacobs Motorsports ran a Kudzu in Sports Racer at the Rolex 24 hours at Daytona
finishing 11th in class and intends to run a good part of the Grand American Road Racing
Championship series with its Kudzu, a Courage C41, and a 1997 Porshe GT2 twin turbo.
Driver rides are available in any of those cars, along with rides available in Motorola Cup
for a Mustang Cobra R, in SCCA Club Racing Formula Atlantic, and C Sports Racer, along with
ITS in an Oldsmobile Achieva.
